TeamDynamix Announces an Evolution in Enterprise Project Software

The new TeamDynamix Enterprise 5.1 ™

What's new with V5.1?

TeamDynamix Enterprise 5.1 takes enterprise project software for mid-sized companies to a new level in reporting, communications and usability. Highly customizable reporting gives companies all the information they need to manage projects and resources and make critical business decisions. Never-before available community features offer team members immediate access to each other and to broader user groups. And it’s all available via an advanced user interface that redefines usability in enterprise project software.

Advanced Reporting Provides Vital Data

Enterprise 5.1™ introduces a new level of ease and customization in reporting, providing all the data users need to track projects, manage resources and analyze project financials. Managers can build and save criteria for reports on the fly, using expanded filtering criteria – including customizable fields. Superior reporting capabilities group, sort, filter and roll up information from all databases and all data can be easily exported to Excel.
Features
  • Custom report writers for on the fly report creation
  • Strengthened resource constraint reporting
  • Globally deploy key reports with one click

Community Features Get People Talking

Enterprise 5.1 introduces exciting new features to facilitate immediate communication between users to keep projects rolling.

Instant Messaging
Enterprise 5.1 is the first to offer the convenience of Instant Messaging (IM). IM enables real-time communication between team members – putting them in a virtual office together. Users can easily see who is available for contact by clicking on the “Messenger” icon on the bottom of the navigation panel and can indicate that they are offline if privacy is required.

Forums
Now, team members also can reach out to broader user groups for input, through Enterprise 5.1 forums. Forums enable team members to share knowledge with other Enterprise 5.1 users. Users can search forums by keywords and view their threads or latest posts.

News
Clients can keep resources up to speed on industry specific news by adding content directly to their TeamDynamix portals via secure RSS integration.

New User Interface Friendlier than Ever

TeamDynamix solutions already are well ahead of the pack for usability. Enterprise 5.1 makes it even easier to manage even the most complex projects. It introduces a clean, ultra-friendly user interface that smoothes navigation and reduces clicks throughout the system.

New Navigation Bar
The new navigation bar gives users easy access to all tools. Instead of having to open each module within the navigation bar – and then scroll up and down a long list of functions – the user simply clicks on the main module link. That module’s desktop, and all tools, immediately appear in the top half of the navigation bar. All other modules remain plainly visible in the bottom half of the navigation bar without scrolling.

One-Click Access to Email and More
Seven basic tools now appear as icons in a row along the bottom of the navigation bar. The icons give users one-click access to IM, email, the user’s time record, calendar, contacts, pending file approvals and the user’s desktop. The Navigation bar also includes a “News” link, which provides immediate access to media of choice – including RSS feeds

Drag and Drop
Enterprise 5.1 also incorporates a handy drag and drop design. With a click and a move of the mouse, users can easily customize their desktops, move folders, reposition calendar events, and perform other organizational tasks.
