12 Simple Tips
For selecting and implementing management software

Your CFO or CIO has decided it's time to implement management software, whether for project management, project portfolio management or IT governance. What next? Here are a few rules of thumb to help make software selection and implementation go as smoothly as possible.

1. Simplicity is key.

Your company wants to keep the tools configurations as simple as possible. Your users will embrace a solution more readily if the tools are set up to clearly deliver the information they need to do their jobs and to make it easy for them to update their progress to the team. Always consider how the tools can simplify your end-users' daily routine so they are more inclined to use them.

TeamDynamix Helps Pinnacle Ace ISO Audit
TeamDynamix helped client Pinnacle Data Systems Inc. ("PDSi") (AMEX:PNS) achieve a new standard of excellence for the company's ISO 9001:2000 audit.
PDSi, which provides product lifecycle service solutions to OEMs in the medical, telecommunications, computer, industrial, imaging and defense equipment industries, used TDNext in tracking work for one if its government customers. The software provided an easily auditable document trail for the ISO auditor.
"TD sped the process of the audit significantly, placing everything the auditor needed at her fingertips rather than requiring her to dig through multiple files and folders for information she needed," remarked Pinnacle IT vice president Max Dieterle.
The auditor herself praised Pinnacle's use of TeamDynamix and the usability of the software system, said Dieterle.

Fortunately, Donatos was able to call upon TeamDynamix for support in making one of those decisions:  The company used TDNext project management software to assess the viability of implementing a call center to receive all orders for pick-up and delivery.

Your Ticket to Help Desk Efficiency

How would you like to have the most efficient worker in the industry running your help desk?
TeamDynamix makes that possible, with the addition of a first-of-its-kind ticket tracking software to the powerful V4.0 project management suite.
The new software, TDTicketing, is the first ticketing module able to fully integrate into a project management system for mid-sized companies. This unique capability enables all data generated within the ticketing module to roll up to executive and resource reporting levels.  From there, a company can generate reports (on number of tickets generated per month, duration and cost of ticket resolution, for example) that offer critical insight into resource allocation, capacity and the cost of doing business.
