TeamDynamix Whittles Down Project Management...
|
| to Bare Bones for Wilbert Inc.
Paul Stubitsch believes his IT team at plastics-manufacturer Wilbert Inc. should follow project management by the book.
Fortunately for the members of his team (whose expertise lies in information technology and business process, not project management), the book he wants them to follow is Bare Bones Project Management, an influential, compact guide for professional project management by IT Catalysts' Bob Lewis. Better yet, TeamDynamix incorporates the Bare Bones approach into a user-friendly module within the Enterprise 5.0 project management software.
Bare Bones strives to simplify project management. Fifty-four power-packed pages provide step-by-step instruction to successfully managing less-complex projects, from beginning to end. It encompasses sponsorship and governance, understanding the project, project staffing, planning the work, and launching, managing and closing out the project. More... |

Staying on Top of the Bottom Line
|
|
IT managers know it is important to isolate the return on investment (ROI) of their project management software. Yet, not all actually track savings generated by the software. Although they know, inherently, that the software has enabled them to manage their operations more efficiently, they are at a loss to quantify its value to the executive team.
To aid them, TeamDynamix has developed a simple table for calculating ROI on project management software (Calculating ROI). IT managers can track current performance against past in the categories indicated to arrive at total quantifiable ROI.
The numbers plugged into the sample Calculating ROI table below are drawn from average savings driven from analysis and are included to give IT managers an idea of the impact project management software can have on the bottom line.
A positive ROI can both justify continued expenditure in the software - and speak well of IT management prudent enough to have implemented it in the first place.

TeamDynamix Turns on the Switch to Enterprise 5.0
|
|
TeamDynamix clients have logged out of TDV4.0 project management software. For good.
Every single client, including those who have been using version V4.0 to manage their projects for years, has chosen to switch to the powerful new TeamDynamix Enterprise 5.0 system. TeamDynamix introduced Enterprise 5.0 in April, to much fanfare.
"Even though 5.0 offers many significant new features, we did not expect 100 percent of our clients to convert to it so quickly," said TeamDynamix partner Andrew Graf. "We planned to continue supporting V4.0 into the foreseeable future."
Yet, V4.0 Sign-In no longer resides on the TeamDynamix home page.
"Clients realized that the transition would be relatively easy, and the added features and benefits of 5.0 made it well worth the effort," said Graf.
