TeamDynamix grows beyond higher ed and into government, K-12 education, and nonprofits in providing ITSM and project portfolio management.
COLUMBUS, Ohio – August 22, 2017 – This week, Goodwill of the Finger Lakes joined TeamDynamix’ fast-growing customer base which is expanding beyond higher education to state and local government, K12 education, and the nonprofit sector. This win for TeamDynamix marks a key milestone as the company broadens its market focus beyond higher education, where it is well-known for meeting the unique ITSM and PPM requirements of the non-corporate world.
TeamDynamix offers a single platform for IT Service Management (ITSM), Enterprise Service Management (ESM) and Project Portfolio Management (PPM). The platform allows universities, state and local governments, K12 districts, and nonprofits to deliver services across IT, HR, marketing, and other departments. For groups like Goodwill of the Finger Lakes, TDX is scalable and effectively manages projects of varied sizes from small fundraisers to graduation events, or in education, with district or institute-wide curriculum planning.
“We partnered with TeamDynamix because they can expand and fit our needs as a not-for-profit organization. We are a diverse social enterprise with a variety of different needs,” said David Hostetter, VP of IT at Goodwill of the Finger Lakes. “We serve a broad spectrum of users and have specific accessibility requirements including WCAG 2.0 / Section 508 conformance. We tested TeamDynamix with multiple screen readers for staff who are visually impaired and we were pleased with the outcome. We are also excited that TeamDynamix is willing to partner with us to ensure the product meets our on-going accessibility needs.”
“We focus on specific markets that are fundamentally different from the corporate space and have unique requirements,” explained C.J. Wimley, CEO at TeamDynamix. “For instance, our customers do not have enormous budgets. They need to really think about how they spend their time and money because they themselves have a higher mission – such as educating our next generation, or building for a better tomorrow, or maintaining order and service to a societal group.”
Goodwill of the Finger Lakes will be deploying TeamDynamix to manage incidents/SR configuration, assets, and project management. The self-service portal was a key aspect of the decision to go with TeamDynamix. The portal includes out of the box functionality for service catalog and knowledge base.
